This training event covered four topics related to speech processing and machine learning. Each day had a morning session with relevant lectures on the topic, followed by an afternoon exercise assignment where ESRs got hands-on experience with the topic of the day.

Webcast of the training event can be found here below:

The workshop will take place at the Alameda Campus of Instituto Superior Técnico :

The sessions will be at the Pavilhão de Informática I (building number 9 in the map):

Morning sessions will be at classroom FA1 and the afternoon sessions will be at computer laboratory Lab 11.

Project dinner (consortium members) on February 14 (location and time TBA)

There will be a group dinner on Monday, February 11 (TBA)

The Campus is at the heart of the business area of Lisbon and it is very well connected to other relevant parts of the city (20 minutes metro ride from the airport, 10 minutes ride to downtown).

There are plenty of hotels around, for instance these 2 are at 1 minute waling distance:
There are plenty of possibilities to move around the city:
Taxi/UBER: Taxis are cheap compared to other places in Europe (from airport to Campus <10€)
Gira: Public bike-sharing:
Car/Moto sharing: eCooltra, Drive Now, emov
